Independent Electrical Verification · NC & SC

The only party on your site with nothing to protect but your interests.

Flashpoint verifies electrical systems for the people who own them — independent of the firm that wrote the report, the contractor who built it, and the schedule that wants it energized. No stake in the outcome. No schedule to protect.

The problem

Everyone else on your site is paid by someone with an interest.

The engineering firm that wrote your arc flash study has no scope to implement it. The contractor building your switchgear line-up is also the party certifying it. The commissioning authority leads with HVAC and treats electrical as a checkbox. The vendor recommending sensors sells sensors.

Each of them is doing precisely the job they were hired to do. None of those jobs is telling you what your electrical system is actually doing.

What we do differently

Verification in the field, by people licensed to open the gear.

Flashpoint holds Master Electrician licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina, NETA certification, and NICET Level 3 in electrical power testing. That matters more than it sounds: an engineer with a modeling package cannot legally open your switchgear, confirm a trip setting against the study, or authorize an energization. We can — and have, across 250+ facilities from mid-market plants to hyperscale data centers.

Because we did not write the report and are not building the project, there is nothing to defend. When as-found conditions differ from the drawings, you get the discrepancy documented rather than explained away. No stake in the outcome. No schedule to protect.

Where it applies

The same verification, bought at three different moments.

01 · After an audit finding

Arc flash study implementation and lockout/tagout programs — turning paperwork you already paid for into compliance you can prove.

02 · Before a plant energizes

Energy marshal and owner's engineer roles, holding the single source of truth on what is live and verifying what was built matches what was specified.

03 · Before it fails

Combined electrical and mechanical predictive maintenance — the one visit that reads both systems together.
